(Like the pun?)

Someone on the CS Wii thread said that the fps boost was beating them down.
I was really bored.

Soooooooooooooooooo...

Quickie hack, If something bad happens to your computer, it's NOT MY FAULT.
This didn't take me as long to make as I woulda liked, but is quite the challenge.
Hell save included.

Haha, nice. What did you set it too? My machine tops out at around 40fps so I really didn't notice a difference past the title screen.

The game has a slowdown function so it doesn't run too fast. I tore it in half.
Am I the only one that this ups the FPS to 100 for?

I've had a varying range of FPS.

In the prefab room, it's like 220-495.
In Hell B1, it's stable at like 240.
At the esc menu, it's like 2500.
And I got like 4000+ when loading the profile.dat.

Mine's pretty consistent at 130 fps.
On the esc screen, it seems to be 380 fps.

I've timed the Nikumaru counter with a stopwatch, and it seems to move at almost double speed.

HOLY JESUS YOU SADIST YOU!!!!!

Yeah, congrats Lace you probably just made my GPA drop sharply by making this cause it's so damn addictive, I can't stop playing it!

(though I won't be able to play it at home probly cause like Noxid, I have a comp which maxes out in the 30-40 fps range so yeah...)

That life capsule in the Egg Corridor is practically unattainable, as is the Map System :p. And Basu and Basil are both assholes. I didn't even try to take on Balrog, I'mma gonna like shit a brick when I get to Igor...

You`vе speeded it up alright! Nice! Btw. it`s fun&hard to actually play the game this way. Can you make the acceleration confined only to certain levels? This would be a nice idea even for a mod - a speedy challenge of some sort.

Thanks cheese and billy, though I have managed to acquire both the map system and beat balrog (after twenty minutes). Making the speed boost condition is possible, but would take me more time. Might do it, maybe.

It's near impossible for me to play. I had a hard time getting the normal ending from Lace's hell save (Those falling blocks moved fast). At the speed it was going at (about 4x) the game wouldn't take input every now and then simply because of how fast it was updating the frames.

I could probably play it given certain conditions, but I'd have to run like recording software while I play it (since that would consume enough RAM to make it go closer to 2x when I tested it).

At such insane framerates you posted, I wouldn't expect anything less than impossible difficulty.

But for others, it's easier, since their framerates are slower.
I have a bad feeling that the speed at which the game runs is an indirect measure of how fast your computer is (i.e. processing power and RAM).

Bosses that move along the ground horizontally are now the most difficult.

Suddenly, the level 3 bubbler becomes my favorite weapon. What an odd turn of events...

Re: FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUuuu!!!!

Balfrog is already too easy.

This should be a nice little challenge. Thanks Lace. :)
Though I might just be /facedesking the whole time, if it's really as fast as it is.

I measured avg framerate with fraps and guess what?

~300 fps in gameplay

700~900 intro screen

It's pretty much impossible to play. It's like the hardest mod available for CS!!! Just push the turbo button and get ready to be obliterated! Bubbler lv3 is now more effective than other weapons, spur charges almost instantâneously, you drown quickly. I feel like I drunk several cups of coffee when I play cs like this.
