I listened to this and liked it, but I hate just posting "This was good," and assumed someone else would give a more in-depth analysis. But it was good and I think it characterized Aslan well.

I want to listen to this, but I really did not like the Narnia books at all.

I'll guess I'll edit this post later when I get over my predispositions.

Well, Aslan is like God + Jesus + a lion, so imagine the song is about that.
edit: also it is about the creation of the world. derp.

Geez WoC, when did you go and become such a good composer?

The only complaint I think I'd give is that I'm not sure that this song sounds like the "creation" of a world. It sounds like it would fit well in any RPG though, sounds like something I might hear as the intro music for a Final Fantasy game.

Haha, I guess I must be getting something in return for those thousands of dollars I'm paying my mom is paying to Western Michigan University :sun:.

Noted, in case I decide to come back and revisit this piece at some point (I'd also probably rework the orchestration near the end, as it was sort of rushed near the deadline).
