I love this. Edit- Still lovin it, I can get to Four very fast (about a minute on the timer) but Four is crazy hard unless you take your time killin off all the butes flying out. Five is awesome. I'm gonna beat this, and fast eventually..

Polar Star > Nemesis in any situation for me. It'd be less challenging though, one less element you don't have to worry about. Consistant 4 damage is better than permanent 1 if you screw up.

I want to play this(badly, I love a good challenge especially in Cave Story).. the one I downloaded started me at Ten, which I'm guessing is wrong looking at Andy's post. I got it down to where I can zip to the end of Ten pretty quick, but I couldn't beat the boss cause I got ducked...

I was trying to make use of pausing to stop the timer during one run, and that was when I learned that pausing the game (items menu) takes away your invincibility from getting hit... I died shortly after figuring this out.

Shooter games = awesome. 2 Player shooter games = Uber.

Well it's not that big of a deal I guess, as the only way I could think of someone cheating on it would be just going to Hell and sitting around till the timer got really high and calling it their time for the whole game hahah. Does the time save if the game saves? I'm guessing it doesn't...

Wow, that is pretty cool... I'm inspired to see how fast I can beat the game now. o_o quick edit* Maybe you could also do what SeriousFace does in his Boss Rush mod, like make a message appear at the end of the game(After Ballos) that shows that you didn't somehow cheat or something.

Don't use FRAPS, it's only good for other games, not good at all for Cave Story. The program I used to record everything was called HyperCam. Another trick I figured out was making Cave Story run on the lowest resolution possible but still making it where you can actually see. Right click...
