Exactly :X if there is a pattern it's still completely random and would require the knowledge of said pattern before you step into that room because soon as you get into that room you gotta start moving if you want to get a fast time. I personally don't think there is a pattern cause I've seen...

I strongly disagree. There's sometimes when blocks will fall in your path constantly and times when they will not bother you at all.

Yeah..room 2 is stoopid. Hardest room of the whole run.

I just find it easier to jump + shoot and make precise movements all at the same time with a controller by using just my thumbs =x not to say that's the best way to play, it's just what works for me, if something different works for you then by all means do it heh.

My old run was 4 '57 '8 so this one is a slight improvement over it. =x I play using a PS2 controller, I suck horribly on the keyboard...I just can't coordinate my fingers to jump and fire rapidly at the same time, and I like using just my thumb to control my directions. It's weird though...

So yeah, got a faster time in hell..slightly Mistakes I made: -2nd room's randomness -Still spending some time at bute spawn points -Could've killed Heavy Press slightly faster, maybe -Ballos' first form could've been killed slightly faster -2nd form, I hesitated at the end and had to go...

That'd still be extremely hard with the lv 1 bubbler. I might give it a shot soon, right now I'm trying to get a better time going through hell with minimum items untill someone gives me a really interesting challenge >_>

With 3 hp it's (almost)impossible to de-level it during the fight though. It's only possible with the nemesis in that fight because nemmy only takes 1 xp to go up or down a level.
